Central Board Secondary Education

Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE board) designs the syllabus for students from Classes 1 to Class 12. The curriculum is set by National Council of Educational Research and Training (NCERT). The board conducts two nation-wide board examinations: the All India Secondary School Examination for Class 10 and the All India Senior School Certificate Examination for Class 12.

All major cities have CBSE schools, which makes it easy to move around in the country. The curriculum is rigorous and focuses on strengthening general knowledge and general subjects. Students get a taste of all subjects without deep diving into them which helps them in choosing their stream after Xth. This board prepares students for several competitive exams like the IIT, CAT, IIM and other national level entrance exams. This board also allows the chance to appear for Armed Forces Exams, NDA, IAS, IFS, IPS, etc.

CBSE is a recognised board by the Govt. of India and is valid globally. Currently this curriculum is offered up to X grade in APWS.
